Leaves are starting to change in the Twin Cities metro, but it's still lagging behind the rest of the state.  Timeline: Most of the Twin Cities metro area is currently between 10-25% progression as of Oct. 9, according to a map shared by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.  Based on data from past years, most of the metro is expected to reach between 25–50% during the weekend of Oct. 11–12, and 50–70% by Oct. 15. Regions north of Interstate 94 are mostly at 75–100% progression, with some areas already past the peak.
